Tony our “warehouse guy,” made my day today. Knowing I have a kid with multiple diagnoses, (we say “a bunch of stuff going on” of which one is autism), he made a point to have me watch this ‘What Would You Do?’ video. I think it was a perverse way to make his boss cry. It worked. Makeup destroyed.
This video program stages uncomfortable or weird situations to see how the general public will react. I have heard some odd stuff is staged, for instance, there is a scenario where a beautiful girl tries to steal a bike. She has trouble with the hacksaw on the lock and all the men try to help, even though she clearly says, “It’s not my bike.”
In spite of that weirdness which I’ll not delve into, the Autistic Child video makes me believe there is hope for us.
